- A few months ago I bought a used Fusion40 (that was supposed to have 18
- megs of RAM on it, configured as two 1X8s and four 4X8s)) from an Amiga
- supplier in Canada, on the condition that if it didn't work on my
- father-in-law's 2000 with 3.1, I could return it for a full refund the
- following week.
-
- Unfortunately, it had only 6 megs of RAM (six 1X8s), OS 2.x Plug 'n Go
- ROMs, and no manuals and didn't work with OS 3.1. More unfortunately, the
- company went bankrupt, having charged me for the Fusion40. Continuing the
- misfortune, my father-in-law got so frustrated about not being able to get
- reliable parts easily for his 2000, he went out and bought a Pentium.
-
- So here I am with a 2000 with a 68000 and a Fusion40 that doesn't work with
- it. Can anyone tell me if the Fusion40 is a good product if I upgrade to
- be useable with 3.1? Can anybody tell me what the jumper settings are for
- various RAM amounts (say between 0 and 8 megs)? Can anybody tell me where
- I can get a manual for the Fusion40?
-
- Thanks for any help you can offer in my days of need.
